OUR MISSION
We provide financial and academic support and community to deserving and economically disadvantaged students who have passed the High School Equivalency exam and are preparing to enter college.
The WithinReach community
The WithinReach Foundation was founded with the belief that everyone deserves a chance at Higher Education. Students who come back to school fight against tremendous odds for higher education, and we are dedicated to making that process easier.
Our organization provides full and partial scholarships to highly deserving and economically disadvantaged adult learners who have passed the GED and received their High School equivalency diploma after studying at the BMCC Continuing Education Department for at least one semester.
We also provide community and individualized support for our scholarship recipients; nontraditional students who often are the first in their families to attend college and deeply value the friendships and mentorship of other recipients and the foundation.
